Here we have collected some of the typical questions with answers

How big is a Grend cottage and what does it contain?

Each cabin is 48 square meters. / 96 sq m. floor area including terrace. The cabins contain everything you need for a comfortable holiday.
In each cabin you will find 2 large bedrooms, a nice bathroom, spacious and well-equipped kitchen, dining area for 6 people, plenty of wardrobe space, washing machine and a completely unique living room with a large terrace in front which also doubles the floor area.
The cabins were designed by Snøhetta architects and provide a living experience that can easily be compared to staying in a luxury hotel in nature.

Does Grend have parking?

Grend has free parking spaces for our guests in Grend's area. You can also park at Bø Sommarland and walk up to the cabin (5 min. walk).

How many sleeping places are there in a cabin?

There are six beds in each cabin. These are divided into 2 bedrooms with double beds and a sofa bed in the cabin.

How do I get to Grend?

By Car: Directions can be found here. Look for signs towards Grend as you approach. You will find the sign when you approach the entrance to Bø Sommarland. From there you can park both in the area of Sommarland or Grend's own car park.

With other transport: If you are traveling by plane to Torp Airport, we recommend getting a hire car. If you are coming to Oslo Airport by plane, we recommend either a rental car or train from Oslo Airport to Bø. Take the train to Bø Station. From there there is a bus to Folkestad Bustadfelt, which is 300 meters away from Grend.

Is it allowed to bring a dog?

Yes, the dog is also very welcome. However, we charge a small lump sum for extra cleaning after departure
